NEW HAVEN - The Mount Saint Mary College women’s basketball team (5-9) dropped a non-conference matchup at Albertus Magnus College (8-9) by a score of 78-52 Wednesday evening. The Knights shot just 20.6 percent (7-of-34) in the first half, while their opponents were good on 44.1 percent (15-of-34) of their shots from the field, en route to a 42-20 halftime score in favor of the host Falcons. They recovered to shoot 34.4 percent (11-of-32) in the second half, but were still unable to keep up with Albertus Magnus, which pushed its lead to...
