BRONXVILLE – Vassar hit double-digit scoring during the Vassar College men’s basketball team’s recent win at Sarah Lawrence College.
Junior guard Sam Rappaport led the Brewers with 21 points. All of his points came from his perfect 7-7 from beyond the 3-point line.
Sophomore forward Alex Snyder put in an early layup opening the Brewers 24-3 run that lasted 13 minutes in the first half. Vassar went on another run before halftime to make the score 45-11. The Brewers scored 23 of their first half points off of turnovers and 12 off of second chance shots.
Sarah Lawrence managed only eight points in the second half while Vassar piled on another 33.
Snyder hit his sixth double-double of the season with 17 points and ten rebounds. Sophomore guard Curtis Smith added 12 points.
