March 7th, 2012 Frontera takes second at state championships
Ithaca - Newburgh Free Academy sophomore Gianna Frontera took second place in the 3,000 meter run at Saturday’s state championships. Frontera (9:59.34) ran a fantastic race, finishing behind Alexis Panisse (9:59.28) by less than a tenth of a second. Frontera was the top public school finisher in the race, however.
