BROOKLYN - Mount Saint Mary College freshman Shanice Robe scored three goals for the fourth time in the last five games, leading the Knights to an 11-0 victory over NYU-Poly on Sunday. The Knights improve to 14-2-1 overall and finish a perfect Skyline regular season with a mark of 8-0-0.
Robe opened the contest with an assist, finding freshman Nastassja Rowe for the opening goal in the 18th minute. Sophomore Nicole Gianotti followed with a tally to make it 2-0, Knights.
In the 24th minute, Robe found the back of the net for her school-record-breaking 25th goal of the year. Robe celebrated the record with two more goals. The rookie has now scored 13 goals in the team’s last five games.
Freshman Courtney McCarthy, sophomore Renee Schultz, sophomore Vanessa DiSilvio, senior Lindsey Oro, sophomore Jordyn Catapano and sophomore Julianne DiDonato also scored. |
