Junior Danielle Asaro set a personal best with a time of 12.64 seconds in the 100-yard dash, which missed a school record by just .05 seconds. The 4 X 100-meter relay came just one-tenth of a second shy of the school record as well.
"This was a phenomenal effort, top to bottom, by our women’s team," Director of Cross Country/Track Pete Colaizzo said. "Sprinters, middle distance, long distance – all of our athletes had great meets and in some cases had breakthrough performances. It was great to see."
