Air Force Airman Alaina T. Watkins graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Air Force airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Watkins is the daughter of Maureen and Anthony Watkins of Shoreline Lane, Jacksonville, Fla., and granddaughter of Carmen and Bertram Watkins of Beth Drive, Middletown, NY.
Watkins is a 2010 graduate of Frank H. Peterson High School, Jacksonville, Fla.
