Big Brothers Big Sisters to hold “Bowl for Kids’ Sake”

NEWBURGH - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County’s annual signature fundraiser, "Bowl For Kids’ Sake", is set to roll out on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 12 to 5 p.m. at Bowling Time Lanes in New Windsor, NY. But this fundraiser isn’t just about the bowling - gutter balls and strikes won’t matter as much as helping children and assuring that much-needed mentoring services continue in Orange County. There will be free food, music, prizes and friends all around.

Business sponsorships are still needed, as well as teams of five co-workers, friends or family to help meet our goal. Anyone - including schools, church groups, service clubs, community civic groups, families, friends, and businesses - can form a fundraising team, individually raise funds or make a donation. Join the fun along with teams like "Orange Crushers", "Pin Pusher", and "The Gutters Ballers" to help ensure Big Brothers Big Sisters can continue to mentor local children.

And remember, it’s not just about bowling - it’s all about the kids! Through your support, Big Brothers Big Sisters can continue to bring professionally-supported one-to-one mentoring relationships to children right here in Orange County, helping to change their lives for the better, forever.

To register as a sponsor or form a team, or to help raise funds virtually, visit www.MentorAChild.org/BFKS or call 845-562-5900 x12.
