ULSTER PARK - On Saturday, January 19, 2013, Helping Hands of the Hudson Valley, along with La Mirage Restaurant, will host a rousing, locally organized celebration of Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. Absolutely 100% of the proceeds will go into the hands of Sandy survivors whose homes have been badly damaged or destroyed by this record-making storm.
While dining, attendees will hear stories of progress and hope from the "front lines", as told directly by some of the Sandy victims from Staten Island. Come mingle and laugh with the everyday heroes and smiling survivors, who together are making this recovery happen. Be a part of it, and give generously to their cause.
In between activities, the band "24 Seven" will get you on your feet with their exuberant cover songs. Treat yourself and do some great good at the same time with an evening of cocktails, great food, and live music. Prizes will be raffled and auctioned. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m., so please arrive early.
La Mirage Restaurant is located at 423 Broadway (Rt. 9W) in Ulster Park, NY.
To purchase tickets, please send check payable to: Sandy Relief Fund, Attn. Jennifer DeWitt, 292 Route 32 North, New Paltz, NY 12561. Six courses, open bar access and music are all included with your ticket.
