FISHKILL - The Rombout Fire Company was dispatched at 12:23 a.m. on December 10th when a car crashed into a house at 267 Osborne Hill Road.
A single car left the roadway and hit the front wooden deck of the house only feet away from where a 4-year-old child slept in the bedroom. There were three young adults in the car during the single vehicle accident; one had very serious injuries, another had serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and the third has a minor injury. All three were transported to St. Francis by Mobile Life.
The family of four in the house at the time was not injured. The Town of Fishkill building inspector was called to the scene and declared the house safe to be occupied. New York State Police Troop K is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
