HIGHLAND - The Walk to Defeat ALS recently took place on Sunday, October 21, 2012, starting on the Highland side of the Hudson River and traversing the Walkway Over the Hudson. It was a record-breaking day for attendance and fundraising, with approximately 1,400 people in attendance and over $170,000 raised.
The Walk to Defeat ALS is the signature fundraising event for the ALS Association. Proceeds from the Hudson Valley Walk go to the ALS Association Greater New York Chapter for ALS research and patient services for Hudson Valley residents. |
