POUGHKEEPSIE - Status updates on the weather can be obtained from the

shelters, transportation to the shelters, and other storm related issues in

People who reside in areas affected by past hurricanes and
tropical storms have the potential of being at risk of flooding during this
storm.
Latest weather models show the storm will bring damaging
winds and rain to the area today and tomorrow.
Residents should be prepared for possible flooding, power outages, and
other storm-related damages. The City of
Poughkeepsie will be utilizing extra staff to deal with storm issues and are
asking residents to refrain from placing leaves on curbs and to clean all storm
drains located near your property of leaves and debris in an effort to
alleviate flooding.
