POUGHKEEPSIE - Mid-Hudson Association for Persons with Disabilities, Inc., which has been providing information and support to families of children with developmental delays for more than twenty years, announced its appointment Sandra Kraich as Executive Director of MHAPD, Inc.

Mrs. Kraich has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for over twenty years and has served in a variety of leadership positions.

Mrs. Kraich worked for thirteen years at SUNY Orange in Newburgh, NY, first as a head teacher, and then as the Director of their childcare program.

Mrs. Kraich also oversaw operations for Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange County- Early Learning Center in Goshen, NY, where she was the Director for almost seven years.

Mrs. Kraich has an AAS degree from SUNY Orange in Early Childhood Education. She also has a BA degree in Psychology/Human Services from Mount Saint Mary College where she graduated receiving Magna Cum Laude recognition.

The members of the Board of Directors are honored to have Mrs. Kraich leading the organization and continue its work by providing personal services to the children and their families. Mrs. Kraich experience, dedication and commitment to the mission of the organization makes the true leader we have been looking for to lead the organization.
