NCAAIA Hosts 16th Annual Conference in Indiana

WASHINGTON, DC - The National African-American Insurance Association is hosting their 16th Annual Conference on October 1-3, 2014 at the Marriott Indianapolis Downtown in Indianapolis, IN. The theme for this year is "People, Purpose & Passion: The Path to Success" and will bring together insurance professionals from various disciplines including Commercial Insurance, Life & Health, Property and Casualty and insurance Agents/Brokers.

The conference attendees will participate in a wide array of opportunities to deepen their industry knowledge, network and collaborate with peers across the industry. This year’s conference will feature many notable industry leaders such as Dr. Robert Hartwig, Ph.D., CPCU, President and Chief Economist, The Insurance Information Institute, who will deliver a key note address.

"We are thankful for the many opportunities afforded to NAAIA over the last 16 years. We are extremely excited about our second annual Service Day that will provide our members with an opportunity to give back to the city of Indianapolis" says Jerald L Tillman LUTCF, NAAIA Founder and President of JL Tillman Insurance Agency LLC.

NAAIA will also host its annual Career Fair which is open to conference attendees and members of the Indianapolis community who are interested in the insurance industry or exploring career opportunities. We have also invited students from local colleges and Universities to attend this fair so that students will consider insurance as a career. In the last 16 years NAAIA has grown to represent 15 chapters nationwide; "we are committed to providing our members with professional development opportunities while engaging the support of insurance companies, industry organizations and other affiliated professions" says Rudy Loney, Chairman NAAIA Board of Directors.
