Dutchess Tourism and BBG&G Advertising win two Golds in Service Industry Advertising Awards.

Dutchess County Tourism and BBG&G Advertising, Inc. have won two Gold Awards at the 11th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA Awards), recognizing advertising excellence from service industry providers. A national panel of judges reviewed 1,700 entries for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall breakthrough advertising content.

Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro stated, "The tourism industry continues to thrive in Dutchess County, generating important revenue for our local economy. The Service Industry Advertising GOLD awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the talented Dutchess County Tourism team. We are grateful for all they do to showcase all Dutchess County has to offer, bringing more visitors each and every year."

BBG&G Advertising, Inc. and Dutchess County Tourism were honored with two Gold Awards, one for our Television Series of broadcast ads, and another for their Integrated Campaign.

"We spent almost a year shooting various tourist hotspots in Dutchess County for an integrated TV, digital and print marketing campaign. We had a blast visiting all the sites, and capturing so much culture, great food, and pure fun! We’re very proud and grateful for these awards, of course, and believe it really reflects the success of our strategic approach to tourism marketing and the excellent team dynamic between BBG&G and Dutchess County Tourism," observed Deborah Garry, a principal in BBG&G Advertising, Inc.

More than 500 advertising agencies and 1,000 institutions participated. Judges evaluated and rated entries in eight groups and twenty-six categories. They presented 152 Gold Awards, 111 Silver Awards, and 82 Bronze Awards.

Executive Director of Dutchess County Tourism Mary Kay Vrba noted, "Dutchess Tourism is pleased to partner with BBG&G to capture the things to see and do that are "distinctly Dutchess", and market them to the New York-metro market and beyond. When you put in the work, and partner with creative agencies such as BBG&G, good things happen."

Eight Best of Show prizes were conferred by the judges for outstanding creative execution. The SIA Awards began in 2003. www.SIAAwards.com
